Celebrating Love with a Longlands at Cartmel Wedding in the Lakes

The couple met at work – they were friends for about a year before anything happened and have been together for over 5 years. Last July, Hayley returned from a holiday with friends, and Jimmy suggested they go up to their local tarn for a swim because the weather was beautiful. They had a swim in the tarn, and whilst they were sitting in the sun, he popped the question! Thus all leading to the wedding 

The day itself was absolutely all the couple could have wanted, even if the weather didn’t quite play ball for an outdoor ceremony. Starting off with some nice relaxed morning preparations, it all led into an awesome ceremony by Sophie Colligan who retold their story and Hayley & Jimmy made some wonderful personal vows – which of course make a centre-piece to the film!

The reception followed and the sun even appeared for some couple moments, before the day led into some amazing heartfelt speeches and an evening of friend-led DJing and dancing!
