I’M PAUL, A WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER NEAR THE LAKES

Capturing love stories across time & space!

Greetings Time Travellers, Jedi and Wedding Couples!

I’m Paul and I’m a wedding videographer (surprise!). I’m from near the Lake District but travel around the UK to film weddings for my couples. I’m a connoisseur of all things Doctor Who, Star Trek, and the gaming universe. Yes, I’m a self-proclaimed geek and nerd, and proudly so. But above all, I’m an introvert who understands the art of subtlety and the power of a story well told.

If the thought of a camera documenting your day seems more daunting than facing a Dalek, fear not. You’ve navigated to the sanctuary of a fellow traveller who gets it and I’d love to capture your day on film.

KIND WORDS

Paul was absolutely fantastic to work with and we are so pleased we booked him! In the build up to the day, he was very easy to reach and answered any questions we had very promptly. On the day, Paul blended into the background and was very discrete with his filming but has managed to capture so much in the films. These have been beautifully put together and all look so natural! We have watched them on so many occasions already! We would highly recommend!

Behind The Scenes

Crafting Your Epic Without the Epic Fuss

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is simple: Plan with passion, celebrate with abandon, and let the memories be captured without a single ‘cut!’.

Your wedding film will be a genuine narrative of your day, where the camera is merely a silent guest, mingling discreetly. No staged directions, no awkward posing – just the authentic, unfiltered celebration of your love.

So, ready your sonic screwdrivers and set your phasers to ‘fun’. With me, your wedding videography is in hands that know how to blend into the background, ensuring that your story is told, not intruded upon.

Whether your wedding is in the Lakes or the surrounding areas or even further afield (I LOVE travelling!) then I’ve got you covered and I’d love to chat about your plans and what my wedding videography can offer you.

Stunning & Tranquil Lake District …

Is it Cumbria or the Lake District? That’s a question that often lingers. While technically it is Cumbria, the soul of the Lake District is what resonates with me. It’s easier to embrace the identity of the Lake District, a name that conjures images of serene lakes and majestic fells.

The Lake District, with its timeless beauty and tranquil landscapes, offers an enchanting backdrop that’s perfect for any wedding. From the historic grandeur of stately homes to the rustic charm of barns, the Lake District is a tapestry of idyllic settings. The region’s history is woven into venues like the Askham Hall and Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa, where the walls echo with stories of love and celebration

What activities can you indulge in the Lake District? Beyond the joyous celebrations, the Lake District is a sanctuary for both adventure and tranquility. With over 3,100 kilometres of rights of way, you can wander through the countryside or cycle to your heart’s content. In the winter, you can even learn winter skills on Helvellyn. On the water, the lakes and coastline offer opportunities for boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding, or you can enjoy a peaceful cruise.

The Lake District is also a stage for vibrant events and festivals throughout the year. From the Keswick Film Festival to the Taste Cumbria Food Festival, each event adds a unique flavour to the region’s festive spirit. The culinary scene is equally impressive, with local chefs and caterers bringing the best of Cumbrian cuisine to your table

The weather in the Lake District adds to its charm, with the rain nourishing the verdant valleys and hills. No matter the season, and you often get all 4 in a single day! The Lake District offers a myriad of experiences, making every visit distinct and memorable. It’s a place where each encounter is fresh, yet warmly familiar—a perfect setting for beginning a lifetime together.

As a wedding videographer in the Lake District, I’m graced with the opportunity to capture the most heartfelt moments amidst some of the most picturesque venues. Favourites among them include the Townhead Estate, set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Windermere, and the Lancrigg, a secluded gem nestled in the heart of Grasmere.
